This Saturday there is a walk to help raise money for a beloved member of the Galena community, Pam Robertson, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. She has won the cancer battle once before. Lonnie and Pam have supported and helped out the school and now we are going to return the favor. Chase Robertson and Cameron Robertson played baseball all four years of high school. They’re both talented and hard working young athletes that still play baseball in college. This fundraiser will help out with the costs and fees of the cancer treatment.                        

This Saturday, October 5, the Walk 4 Pam will be held at 5 pm at Galena High School. Anybody that shows up to this event will be a great help. The entry fee is 20 dollars and you get a t-shirt! There will also be a spaghetti supper by donation in the high school cafeteria from 4:00 pm until the completion of the Walk. The Robertson family has done so much for Galena High School and now we can return the favor by showing up and participating in this big event.
